The local authority of Subingen is situated just a few kilometres from the city of Solothurn with good public transport links.
There was a real need for senior citizens’ accommodation in Subingen. bonacasa conducted a survey on behalf of the local authority. The specifications for the homes were then drawn up and a project put in place. bonainvest was able to implement the building project as a private investor.
The project was completed in cooperation with the blanc partner architekten ag architects’ practice of Subingen. The building is Minergie certified and heat for the Birkengarten project is produced by a gas- fired heating system. In addition, the apartments comply with bonacasa construction standards.
