The first construction phase was completed in 2017, followed by a second in 2018. One important aspect of the construction project in Port was the use of sustainable building techniques: all the residential buildings were erected to comply with the very latest technological principles and the Minergie standard has been respected throughout. The Bellevuepark project is heated using wood pellets backed by solar panels on the roof.

Together with proximity to Lake Biel, the idyllic and sunny hillside location and an own bus stop, the homes themselves also feature many highlights. Carefully designed floor plans, superior interior finish and many smart details, including a walk-in shower, create a “feel good” ambiance. The digital parcel acceptance facility is a boon for people who like to shop online.

The project was built in cooperation with the Wahlirüefli architects’ practice of Biel and the rollimarchini practice of Bern. In addition, the homes all comply with bonacasa construction standards.
