The groundbreaking ceremony in November 2009 marked the start of a two-stage construction phase at the Egerkingen site. First, bonainvest built the retirement and nursing home with 72 nursing places and 16 integrated retirement apartments as a total contractor. After demolition of the old retirement and nursing home, bonainvest realized 72 apartments in five buildings on the site, as well as a medical center and a physiotherapy practice. bonainvest added 42 apartments to its own portfolio. Heat is generated at the Sunnepark settlement by means of a central heat pump and gas heating. The buildings are Minergie certified. All apartments were built according to the bonacasa construction standards.
